NBC's hit "The West Wing," which depicts the behind-the-scenes drama of life in the White House, scored a record-breaking and landslide victory at the 52nd annual Primetime Emmy Awards. In another coup for the Peacock Network, Will & Grace won best comedy and two acting awards.
The NBC show won nine awards in total, more than any prime-time program in a single season. His triumphs include Best Drama, Best Directing for a Drama, Best Writing for a Drama, and Best Supporting Actress and Actor for Allison Janney and Richard Schiff.
