Yesterday, The Sopranos caused another mafia scene. A film crew took over a once-infamous go-go bar in Lodi, New Jersey, to film an episode of the hit HBO mob drama, and the best seats in the house belonged to motorists driving along busy Highway 17.
Leading actor James Gandolfini, playing the disheveled Tony Soprano, was there, suddenly staggering out of a side door. The cameras continued to roll as Tony leaned from side to side and entered the dirt parking lot. A few seconds later, a long-legged cutie followed him out. The show's top-secret crew declined to discuss the scene, but it made no difference to the commuters and drivers who disrupted traffic by slowing down and trying to get a glimpse.
