My attempt to have all of my system's 2000s lists by the end of the week continues with my analysis of the best men's performances of the year - expanded to 33 only because it was a fair enough number to tick off most of the performances I felt were deserving.
Vlad Ivanov (4 Months), Sergi Lopez (Pan's Labyrinth), Hal Holbrook (Into the Wild), Michael Sheen (The Queen), Robert Downey Jr. (Tropic Thunder), Mark Wahlberg (I Love the Bandits), and Dennis Quaid (Far from Heaven) were just some of the supporting roles I almost included but left out at the last minute, and Hugh Grant (About a Boy), Michael Stuhlbarg (A Serious Man), Javier Bardem (Before Night Falls), Jeremy Regnier (Kids), and Matt Damon (The Bourne Supremacy) were some of the leads that almost made the list.
