Some of television's biggest stars shared the spotlight with stagehands and camera crews to persuade Albany to extend tax breaks to keep cameras rolling in the city. They gathered Monday on the set of "Life on Mars" at Kaufman Astoria Studios in Queens to highlight the importance of the film and television industry in New York.
"We're talking about people who are working. We're talking about people who have mortgages, who have kids in college." Actor Harvey Keitel, who also stars in the series, called on elected officials to fully understand what the industry means to New Yorkers.
