HBO: I'm enjoying the new season of The Sopranos. David Chase alternates between challenging, surprising, shocking and frustrating me on a weekly basis. But I find every second of the show exciting. His artistic vision is unabashedly cinematic. Its characters and stories are more complex and mysterious than anything in the arthouse or multiplex.
