Hitfix releases the first image from Stephen Daldry's adaptation of Oscar winner Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, featuring a sweet moment between Manhattan father and son Tom Hanks and Thomas Horne, who later seeks messages from his father after the 9/11 disaster.
Neither film is expected to be finished soon enough to make it to any festivals, with Venice, Telluride and Toronto all sifting through a long list of potential contenders. Survivors with the right items will face the mighty question marks of Spielberg and Daldry at the end of the year.
