In the animated film "Igor," which opens Friday, a mad scientist's hunchbacked assistant dreams of making it big with his own creation. The independent producers behind the film have the same idea in mind, but they'd rather you not compare them to companies like Pixar and Disney, which continue to churn out monster hits of their own.
