Tommy Hilfiger's friends are concerned that the designer's active lifestyle is beginning to take its toll on his life. His public fight with rocker Axl Rose at Plumm is a symptom of him spending too many nights in clubs, according to one close source. “He got out of control at Cain's in Southampton last weekend,” adds the witness, who described him as loud and well-served in the bar until 3.30am on Sunday.
Hilfiger (above), who dates statuesque blonde Dee Ocleppo, was also very familiar with everyone, says my spy. In recent weeks he has also distinguished himself at the Marquee and the Pink Elephant, where clubgoers have spotted him enthusiastically partying.
