Don't get personal with Ethan Hawke when he plays poker. The Breaking Dawns actor looked somber when we asked him about his marriage during theater group LAByrinth's Poker LAB charity event at Soho House on Sunday night. But Hawk completed the night's trumps with us: not only did he not allow us to fly out of the event, but he actually answered our question.
The event was sponsored by the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. We caught up with Hawk right before the tournament and asked if his marriage to Ryan Shawhughes was "going well." Hawk gave us an incredulous look. "How are you?" - he answered. It probably would have ended there if we hadn't sat across from him at the poker table later that evening.
