Meadow and Noah are cuddling on her bed in her room at Columbia when her unhappy roommate Caitlin returns. Instead, Madow and Noah go to his room and have sex; This is her first time. They then try to help Caitlin; Meadow admires Noah's sensitivity. She is taken out for her birthday, but an encounter with a homeless woman upsets her again. With Meadow gone, Caitlin convinces Noah to let her hang out in his room. She distracts him while he works, and he becomes angry and ashamed of his grade: “C-minus, and it’s all her fault!” Meadow nervously meets Noah's father; in response to his question, she says that her father is a waste manager. She is taken aback when Noah says his father filed a restraining order against Caitlin. Then, while they are studying together in the library, Noah looks up and quietly tells Meadow that he is breaking up with her, accusing her of being "too negative."
At the Bada Bing, Tony is approached by one of the pole dancers, Tracy. She reminds him that he gave her advice about her sick son, and as a token of gratitude she gives him the date nut bread she made. Tony explains that this is inappropriate; She is also Ralphie's girlfriend. Tracy later approaches him again, saying she is pregnant with Ralphie's baby and asking for advice; Tony says that for the sake of the child and future generations, she should have an abortion. Ralphie's manic jokes offend the other bandits. He is obsessed with the movie Gladiator and misbehaves with Georgie. Things get tense when he finds a piece of chain and swings it at Georgie, damaging his eye.
Tracy misses three days of work, claiming to be sick, and stays home with Ralphie. Silvio goes there, pulls her out and throws her into his car, while Ralphie looks out the window, laughing. She later sees Ralphie at the club; He hasn't been in touch for three days, and she insults him in front of the other mafiosi. In the parking lot, a quarrel occurs between them, which turns violent. After Tracy insults Ralphie's masculinity, he knocks her down, brutally beats her, and slams her head into a metal fence twice, killing her. Tony is furious and, although Ralphie is a created man, attacks him.
He indirectly tells Dr. Melfi about this event. "It's sad to see them go so young," he says.
