This week a judge in New York was blind and deaf. Deaf to the sobs of Officer Russell Tymoshenko's mother and Officer Daniel Enchautegui's sister as they wept in separate courtrooms over verdicts in the murders of their loved ones. Deaf to the evidence that clearly linked the deaths of the three thugs.
“I’m a drug addict,” actor Lillo Brancato explained in the case of Enchautegui. "I didn't know [his accomplice, shooter Steven Armento] had a gun." “My confession was obtained under duress,” Robert Ellis defended himself in the Tymoshenko case. It worked both times: Brancato and Ellis got off with lesser charges.
