Rapper/producer Sean "Puffy" Combs and minister/artist Hezekiah Walker have put together a collection of contemporary gospel music for release on Combs' Arista-distributed Bad Boy label. Titled "Thank You," due out June 5, the album features contributions from Faith Evans, Kelly Price, Carl Thomas, Brandy, Brian McKnight, Walker and more.
The song, like most of the album, was produced and co-written by Combs and Winans. Additional writers and/or producers on the tracks include Brandy, Rodney Jerkins, Joe, Hammond, Warrin "Baby Dub Campbell" and Stevie J. News of the release comes amid Combs' ongoing high-profile trial in New York for weapons possession and bribery, as well as the recent debut of his latest fashion line, Sean Jean.
