Director Baz Luhrmann says he loves the ending of Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman's film Australia. But he filmed alternative outcomes. “I really don’t want people talking about other endings,” Luhrmann told us at the New York premiere on Monday. But after a glass of wine, he revealed that he had directed an episode in which Jackman's heroic character Drover dies (a script that is said to have scared Fox executives).
