An alternate juror in the trial of a drug addict accused of murder and an off-duty Bronx police officer said Thursday that she would have found him guilty. "I think he's guilty," said Maria Made, 58, of Fordham, as the rest of the jury spent a second day deliberating the fate of gunman Steven Armento.
Made and other alternates were fired after the jury began deliberating. Made, a home health worker, said she believes Armento knew he was shooting at a police officer when he opened fire with a .357 Magnum in December. "I think he knew, yes," she said.
